This is a rare opportunity to go with Taiwan Adventures to Yushan (Jade Mountain), on an economical group trip. Due to the difficulty in getting permits, we rarely offer group trips to Yushan. Please read all the information below thoroughly and sign up soon, because the spaces will sell out quickly!
Jade Mountain (Yushan) is Taiwan’s highest mountain and the highest mountain in eastern Asia. It’s one of Asia’s “Three Jewels” and every Taiwanese person wants to climb it once in their lifetime.
This is an OVERNIGHT trip leaving Taipei on Saturday, August 1st and returning to Taipei on Monday August 3rd. (If you work Monday to Friday, you’ll have to take Monday off)
We consider this trip to be “luxury economical” because it’s as cheap as we can make it, and includes everything our private trips include.
Included: Private transportation from and to Taipei for our group; All the meals for the whole trip; Your own bed* in a hotel on the first night; Native English speaking guides (Neil and Ross), permits, and insurance.
If necessary, we can arrange a second pickup point in Taichung or Chiayi for our southern living friends.
*We’ll be staying in private rooms in a hotel near Alishan. You will have your own bed in a room with 4 other people. We might not be able to have separate men’s and women’s rooms. If you’d like a private room, tell us, and we’ll see what we can do, but it will cost extra. The second night will be in Paiyun cabin and will be mixed company and possibly mixed with another hiking group.
