Another chance to upgrade your Wilderness First Aid skills with SOLO instructor Matt and our friends at ZA Adventures.
In January there’s a chance of a WFA certification (or recertification for both WFA and WFR holders) and a WAFA qualification (Wilderness Advanced First Aid).
These are exceptional courses and essential knowledge for anyone spending a lot of time in the back country. They’re not run by Taiwan Adventures but if you have any questions let us know. We’ll be there!

WFA Wilderness First Aid Course

Wilderness First Aid (WFA)

Matt is flying over from the states again to lead the course, and this is a great chance to get a first-aid qualification from an extremely knowledgeable and experienced professional. The course can also serve as a refresher for WFR (Wilderness First Responder) if you took the WFR in the last 3 years.

This course will be slightly different to previous ones in that it will be a whole weekend rather than two seperate days. We will camp out on the Saturday night and do some classes in the evening.

WHO IS THE WFA FOR?
The WFA is the perfect course for the outdoor enthusiast or trip leader who wants a basic level short trips with family, friends, and outdoor groups. It also meets the ACA guidelines.

WHAT IS THE COST?
The cost is $7000NT and this includes two lunches and dinner on Saturday night, instruction, insurance, a camping spot and certification.

CPR certification can also be done over the weekend, and this is an extra $1000NT.
